I’ve been obsessed with the word “vignette” for years. Something about it always spoke to me on a deeper level, almost the same way I feel the moon does.
If you google the word, you’ll find many different definitions, but my personal favorite is
“A vignette is a brief but powerful scene. A good vignette leaves you wanting more.”
As someone drawn to interior design, I love creating little vignettes around my home – curated selections of décor that create a scene that feels complete on its own; so cohesive and simple, and yet you can’t keep looking at how beautiful it is.
